Changing my "geographical location"

Hey guys, I've posted a previous thread before about how I was being matched up with players thousands of miles away from me e.g Australia, even the UK for god's sake. I live in Singapore, an island in southeast Asia. I recently noticed that you could check your various network settings on Black Ops (ranging from ip address, bandwidth, and geographical location). Then, I noticed something extremely peculiar. My geographical location is Australia! This can't be possible, since I live in Singapore. Why would my geographical location be so vastly different from my actual location?

I've searched for hours trying to find out how to fix this, and there is simply zero information on it. All I know is that either Black Ops or XBL is mistakenly identifying my location as Australia instead of Singapore as I rightly deserve. In fact, the only way I can join games that aren't one bar connection is to join through my friends, which is extremely pathetic and slipshod, considering that this is such a high budget game.

My country on XBL profile is set to Singapore. I believe that this Problem should be easy to fix (like hit detection lmao) so could anyone offer me any advice or solutions to change my "geographical location"? I know for a fact that I'm not living in Australia.
