HELP!
I am a 360 user. I know this is ridiculous to some but I am desperate for a solution and justice.
In September of 2011 I acquired the focusing stone, completing the Shangrila Easter egg in zombies. My xbox live account still shows my achievement for completing TIME TRAVEL WILL TELL. Upon completion, and my entire motivation for attempting the achievement/Easter egg, I unlocked Nd received two gamerpics: Dr. Richtophen and Nikolai(?). I immediately equipped the Richtofen gamerpic to be associated with my profile. Then something happened. I never deleted either picture but both have disappeared from my account. I contacted Microsoft to resolve this and they insisted they could do nothing to return the content and assured me that it was a matter that activision was responsible for and able to remedy. However, activision does not manage my xbox live profile, nor do they monitor my xbox live account or store my xbox live account/profile on their servers at cost of a monthly service fee. Therefore I believe wholeheartedly that Microsoft F'd up somehow and are pushing this off on the publisher. All Microsoft need to do is make contact with activision on my behalf and acquire the two images and then associate them with my content. They could easily email me files in the appropriate format and I could save them to my console and everything would be rectified. Unfortunately Microsoft said they would and could not do any such thing and again suggested that I take the matter up with activision.
I contacted activision and they were impatient and unconcerned and simply stated that the only solution would be to complete the Easter egg again and SEE if the gamerpics downloaded again. If I've already completed the achievement and unlocked and downloaded these gamerpics how would repeating prompt another unlock as they've already been UNLOCKED?
Can I please get an admin response regarding this? I wanted to post this in the general activision forums but everytime I attempt to login the screen never loads. Anyone is welcome to move this post to a more appropriate place.
I just want my gamer pictures back. It's not complicated. Activision please, do for a faithful consumer what Microsoft won't. I beg you, provide me formatted gamerpics for xbl profile shortcup. I very much appreciate those whom take the time to read and respond to this seemingly trivial matter. Those items were well earned and monetarily paid for. Black Ops was not cheap and neither were all the map packs I also purchased.
Microsoft has no motive to rectify their error but Activision does care about their customers and I implore you upon those grounds. Again, thank you for your time.
