If this was a free game, I really wouldn't care, but IT IS NOT. We are paying customers, and deserve privacy rights and shouldn't be subject to our IP being given out unprotected because Xbox live doesn't want to host servers.
Basically, I was talkin' competitively with another player, when he got really pissed off (RuggerPip), he was angry because I was the only person who went positive on the losing team, and was complaining about my team's efforts. After playing in this same lobby for a couple of games, at the end of every game, the first thing he would do is start talking **** to me, "oh what's your excuse now, Dember???"
Anyways, I got booted from xbox live during the next game, and couldn't play xbox throughout most of the day. Well, when I started looking up reasons as to why I would be booted from xbox, when everything else works fine, I started to find info on packet sniffers and xbox booters.
So, I though well, I'm probably being paranoid and I'll check the theater when I get back on to see if anybody is afk from the controller while I end up getting booted, and sure enough everything looks to me like we have a guaranteed hacker/ ddos attacker.
Even though RuggerPip was the one I was talking trash to, DyNaMiiK ViiRuZ (two i's in each name), stood still for a good minute, all perfectly timed with when I got booted. *Thanks xbl theater*
So, because I didn't realize this at first, his name is not in my recent players list so I do not want to add him and then report him, but I thought maybe reporting him and others that do this here, that way maybe xbox or the police can look into it themselves. DDOS attacking paying customers is a FEDERAL CRIME, and if these two live in the US, they are risking quite a bit of jail time to have some fun kicking people on xbox.
But, I doubt that xbox is the only place these little twerps get their kicks, I guarantee you they have done worse internet crimes.
There is always the slight chance that it was pure coincidence that he stood still exactly 20 seconds before, and for 20 seconds after I got booted, but I am 99.9% sure this guy is a ddos attacker, and him and Rugger either live together or play together.
I would appreciate a board moderator looking into this, and responding, since I cannot report this in game because he isn't on my recent players list, I do have the video evidence in my file share.
If something is not done to these types of players by Microsoft, then they themselves will be at risk because these types of attacks will only get more widespread, and you will lose paying customers if something is not done, and soon.
