I got this the first day the game came out, and I am still getting this. It has nothing to do with the text that I attempt to use. I have tried the letter 'a' through 'zzz'. I have tried just using random characters. I personally do not use foul language (yes I am one of those) so it has nothing to do with that. My clan tag is 'SS' for Sea Snipers. Everyone in my clan has 'SS' for a clan tag accept me because of this glitch with the game. I am not the only one. There are many threads in this forum and other forums that have talked about the same issue (however disorganized, or turned into a flame thread). None of the threads have turned up any answers to this issue.
I would very much like to join my clan in uniformity by being able to put on a clan tag like my clan mates. I have tried many things to resolve the issue on my end. --> reset cache, delete saved files, rebooting.... glaring at it...sending it to it's room without supper... <<--
I would like to know if a Black Ops Community Manager or Dev might be able to help my situation, as well as the many others who have the exact same issue that I do.
