I hadn't noticed it until last night. But I decided to use the tomahawk's more often last night and on more than 1 occasion, my tomahawk stopped mid-flight the moment I died.
The reason I know this is, a few times I rounded a corner, lined up and threw it dead on, only to be shot immediately after. Watching the kill cam, I can see the tomahawk flying towards the guy and then just disappear right in front of him. It wasn't a miss as I watched from multiple angles, but no, it just completely disappeared.
I know this happens with grenades a lot for some unknown reason. But I think inertia and the tomahawk's momentum should carry it through, even if I did die mid-flight.
Anybody else ever notice this?
