I've seen other people posting that they can't get into multiplayer. You're not alone.
Roughly 2 weeks ago, I started getting the "Black Ops server currently unavailable" message on an intermittent basis. Some days I can play, some days I can't. My friends are getting on just fine, and every other game works fine. I would restart my console, modem, and router. I tried a different brand router. My console is on my router's DMZ. Deleting the system cache does not help. I've played since November with no problems until now.
I called Activision this morning, and they said that they are receiving a lot of these complaints lately, and that Treyarch is looking into it. They took a lot of info from me to help research this, such as my ISP, router and cable modem model, Console ID, etc. So, if you're suddenly having this problem, I recommend that you call Activision support and speak with a rep so that they can take your info to help troubleshoot the problem. The more info they get, the easier it will be for them to track down the problem.
