Map design in this game is terrible....
Most of the maps in this game follow the same general general layout....an open space in the middle with a flanking route down each side. They are far too linear and too easy to get a team in a spawn trap. On all of these linear maps there are a few choke points you need to hold down to dominate the game.
I would like to see more circular (?) maps with more routes/less vital choke points.

Linear maps I am talking about:
firing range
havana
jungle
niketown
radiation
summit
drive in
hotel
hazard

There are more than this but I got lazy. Keep in mind I am speaking from a Dom perspective. While all of these maps have their own characteristics and intricacies they follow the same basic layout of open zone in middle with 2 flanking routes. MW2 maps were much better designed where there were pockets of fighting all over the map, and not holding down a few key choke points.

These are my opinions and in some cases I have generalised.
