Good Headset for Under $100?

I would like to get a WIRED headset for under $100.  I know that full surround is better, but I don't think that's gonna happen on my budget.

The Turtle Beach X11s look pretty good, but I want everybody's opinion first.

I definitely want it to have a microphone on it for chat, and will be using it exclusively for gaming.

Which one gives the best possible sound for hearing enemies coming, etc.
