Please read all of this before commenting. This argument is against the adjusting of sights for snipers (will be harder than the rest of the call of duties), and not against SoH Pro.
Reason 1.
Sniper rifles are one of the hardest sets of guns to use. If somebody is new to CoD, what guns are they gonna use? 90% of them will use assaults or SMGs because they are easier to use.
Reason 2.
If sniping is so cheap, why don't use see people in Gamebattles/ competitive games? You will almost never see a person use a sniper rifle.
Reason 3.
Sniping takes months, if not years to perfect in Call of Duty. If you complain about dying to a sniper who is rushing you chances are he is experience or you are just bad.
Reason 4.
I know in real life you don't see people running around quick scoping - but you have to remember this is a game, and people play it for fun. There are many aspects of CoD which aren't realistic.
Reason 5.
A sniper at close range will lose 8/10. They might get a lucky no scope, but usually a person with an automatic gun will be able to win.
Reason 6.
Call of Duty maps are small. Even if your sniping, your always going to have close quarters encounters - which is why quick scoping is necessary.
Reason 7.
People don't quick scope because they are going to get more kills - they do it for fun. Any person rushing with a sniper will be able to get more kills with an automatic gun because it's easier.
Reason 8.
By rushing with a sniper you are putting yourself at a disadvantage - no matter who good you are at it.
Reason 9.
You can usually kill somebody faster with an AR/SMG (if you have decent accuracy) than somebody who has to scope in and shoot at a reasonable range.

There are many more important aspects of Call of Duty to gimp. I know treyarch have gimped many of them, but noob tubes, killstreaks, claymores etc are still 'cheap' ways to play.
If you still still think quick scoping is cheap go on CoD4/WaW/MW2 and try to rush with a sniper. Chances are, if you're not experience with it (im presuming a lot of people who don't support it aren't) chances are you're not going to do well. After you've tried it then you are free to share what you think.
