This "perk" is so stupid. It literally makes you immune to any explosive device. Rpgs a problem? No problem, flak jacket. Claymores got you down? No problem, flak jacket! Tired of having to use skill to avoid dying rather than relying on your perks to do the dirty work for you? No problem! FLAK JACKET!
I am not usually one to actually complain about things outside of my occasional nerd rages to myself. But this perk is really a problem. It prevents you from dying in some way, which doesn't make it a perk, it makes it a handicap. Perks are supposed to give you advantages, like quicker reloading, or stealth from spy planes, or faster running. They're not supposed to be handicaps, I mean what kind of perk is that? Its not their to help you be a better player, its theres to eliminate your mistakes. I thought we learned that their shouldn't be a perk that prevents death back in the juggernaut days?
Yea mw2 had a version of flak jacket, but it was a piece of equipment, replacing your grenade/claymore spot, and you had to equip it which would give you temporary blindness from your hud which made it balanced.
