Seriously. I am terrible at lining up a target.
The last time I played a FPS, it was Counter Strike. Aiming with the mouse on my computer was no problem, but I hate the little joystick on the xbox controller. I suck at fine corrections with it. I play with my sensitivity on 2, and I still have trouble putting my sights on a moving target that is more than 20 or 30 yards away. I always overshoot the target - I can't stop the damn cursor over what I want to shoot. It's always a little too far, then I overcorrect a little too much, and by then I am dead.
How do people deal with the joystick? Is it just something people learn over time?
I have to admit, I very very rarely play console games so the controller is new to me, but still. The damn thing is frustrating.
I have considered taking a piece of grip-tape and putting on the tip of the joystick to see if that helps, but I honestly don't know how much that would do for me.
