I am sick and tired of getting abused in games because I do Gamebattles and talk about it!
These are common misconceptions of Gamebattles players. Hopefully this will clear some things up.
What is Gamebattles?
Gamebattles is an online community in which teams face off against each other in private matches. Custom settings are made (example: 3v3 SnD with no equipment and KSRs.)
Why do you do it?
I do it because it is more fun than public servers. The matches are more intense, and custom mapsets can be made. I do not do it as a job.
Are you MLG?
No. Less than 1% of the website is. Everyone is just trying to have a good time. I have not made a cent off of gaming, and never tried to make a cent.
What is MLG?
MLG is a gaming league. While Gamebattles is online, MLG takes place at LAN events. All MLG Players do Gamebattles, not all Gamebattles players do MLG. No one under 17 does MLG Ignore little kids who say they do it.
Are you the best?
No. Even though Gamebattles has great players, many great players do not do it. However, most people who do it are experienced.
But some little kid in a public match said he was!
He is not. Just like public matches, annoying kids exist. However, many respectful people do Gamebattles.
Do you do 1337 no scopes
No. Sniping in Gamebattles puts me at a significant disadvantage. If you flame Gamebattles players because you believe they are the annoying quickscopers, you are flaming the wrong community. That is the Youtube community.
Do you tryhard
In public servers, no. I tryhard in Gamebattles. I play for fun in both. Just because one tryhards, they are still having a good time and playing for fun.
Two side notes. People who send you annoying M2Afs, or change their name to a clan likely do not do Gamebattles.
Also, people with xxx or iTz in their GT do not do Gamebattles. Most players have short one word gamertags. Mine is ShuIz
