The impact of cheating:
Listen up everyone I am the leader of a large gaming site (GB2K)" and an organization known as The United Federation of Clans (UFoC) which runs GB2K.. The UFoC has been around for many years and on the surface it appears to be just another large gaming community. Though this is partially true it is mostly known for its primary function which is to identify, record and report online pedophiles, hate groups, hackers, copyright and trademark violators. The reason the UFoC was created can be best illustrated by a post made on this site by a frustrated gamer in response to a hackers complaint for getting banned.

"I posted this in another thread, and thought it bears repeating with the number of "OMG im banned HELP!!" threads we are seeing here.
Determining skill requires that all players have the same pool of tools available. Those tools need to adhere to a strict standard. When one player has tools available that others do not, nor sometimes are they even aware said tool exists, this is not skill. Modding exists for one legitimate reason, to make your experience tailored to your liking. But, when you start infringing on my experience by altering the known online game dynamic, you are now changing my experience and likely many others.
My advice would be to put as much effort into bettering yourself as a player as you do modding/hacking/jtagging and you would be surprised what you can accomplish. Plus you will feel a higher sense of pride that is deserved and respected by your gaming peers. Not despised and looked down upon, not only by us but the majority of the world. Cheating to get ahead is not acceptable, and in some instances can incur serious repercussions. (banning in this case)
If you are hacking the game solely on principal to "prove" it can be done to make 3arch eat their words, (the people who even provided the game in the first place), this is at the expense of millions of other players own experience. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. Completely unappreciative to 3arch and Activition for providing entertainment you obviously enjoy playing. I cannot condone this, this is a small and sad way of thinking. I can only hope that one day you wake up to the bigger picture.
I challenge all modders/jtaggers/hackers to join us in the game, bringing only your skill, good luck, respect."
Now before you look at this post as a self promoting advertisement that has no place here according to the CoC, I will point out the reason for the lengthy post and mention of UFoC or GB2K. Imagine the above quoted sentiment posted by Favern which represents 2/3 the number of copies of games sold and you will quickly see that it underscores the magnitude of the problems that ordinary gamers face daily, because the remaining 1/3 of games sold or pirated are acquired by undesirables who are hell bent on ruining everyone's gaming experience for their own amusement, profit or a shot at notoriety with a MLG contract. Now my point is, that these undesirables created the need for organizations such as the United Federation of Clans and safe gaming sites such as GB2K. These organizations and sites would not exist if gamers simply played the game and left the shenanigans out of it. Policing up the game so that it is safe, fair and balanced is everyone's responsibility not just Treyarch's or XBox live. In the end you paid a significant sum of money for the game so it is only reasonable to expect that you should be able to play that game as was intended without having to worry about undesirables ruining it for you. So we applaud and continue to support all of Treyarch's efforts in dealing with these undesirables and hope that it sends a clear message to all would be cheaters. Treyarch will not ban you if you did not violate the Terms of Use or Code of Conduct because there are legal implications that can result from it if they did. If you are one of those above mentioned undesirables then you deserve to be permanently banned or prosecuted for your lack of integrity.
