Are Astro A40's worth the money?

I'm looking at buying a new pair of gaming headsets and what I've noticed is that Astro's have been widely known as the best gaming headsets

BUT...is it worth the money?

I currently own a pair of Turtle Beach X11's but it's showing it's age so I'm in the market to spend some cash on better headsets.
So far, I've looked into the Astro A40, Tritton AX Pro Dolby Digital Precision Gaming Headset & Turtle Beach Ear Force PX5
