Is Anyone Using Verizon Fios?

I am anxious and nervous at the same time, tomorrow I am getting Verizon Fios internet installed, with the 25MB service. I am switching from a crappy 15MB cable service with Mediacom cable. Verizon is providing all the equipment including a router for the service. I have a few questions. Should I expect good connection? I very frequently experience the dying after shooting a whole clip while the kill cam shows me not shooting syndrome with cable currently. Also, will I need to open all the ports again like I did with my current setup? That was such a pain the first time LoL.
