Before you go, "OMG dood not this thred again", let me go ahead and say this will be a logical non impulsive post. If you wish to troll, do so elsewhere.
First off, I will say this biggest issue in this game is lag compensation and host disadvantage - those need to be addressed first and foremost. However, to compound this issue, ghost is ruining much of the fun this game can offer more and more everyday. Here are few reasons why ghost is a terrible perk to have in this game.
1. In previous COD titles, there were other perks that were actually relevant in the ghost slot, namely stopping power and juggernaut. Therefore, people running around with ghost actually had to give up relevant perks for staying off the radar - in this game they do not. (Don't give me the Lightweight BS, this is only because of the default classes.)
2. It promotes a camping atmosphere. Yes, it's true. I really don't care how hard you guys deny or naysay this, but it is fact. When people know they are off the grid, they seem to like to wait and kill someone who's passing by. Now, before you go "Oh jEEz get some skillz wouldja", I'm not complaning about dieing to campers, I'm complaning about the game being slowed down tremendously by camping. In the beginning TDM games would be 5-6 minutes in length max. Now there is rarely a game that is finished before the 8 minute mark, and many go down to the time limit.
3. That being said, when they game is slowed down badly, and you deal with that game after game the fun factor goes away. I'm not an idiot, I know nothing will be changed in this COD, I just hope the same mistake isn't made in any other COD for as long as the series is around.
