Kswift's Improvments Revised. Rumble for Hardcore 6/21/10

My focus on making the new Mod. War. Is strengthening what made COD4 so epic IMO it was the perks and aim down sight mechanic and that feeling of you miss you die. Just build up on what u got.

New Perk System – with 3 levels of upgrades.

NEW PERK

Snap Shot (RED)

L1 - Allows snap on targeting similar to the targeting in SP

L2 - Double tapping Aim while snapping on to a target will send you into a focus mode[color=#8e9d74] that makes your enemies glow red(like sit rep it mod 2)
for a brief moment allowing you to make a stylized shot.
1 focus kill resets focus sense, if you miss then you have to wait 3 seconds before using it again.

L3 - you get a 2 focus shots[/color]



Field Awareness

L1 - Undetectable by Snap Shots
L2 - Enemies that sprint pop up on radar
L3 - accuracy is greatly increased if shot and injured.

Special grenades/equipment (blue)
(stuns, flash, tear gas, Throwing Knives)
L1- x3 special grenades/ equip.
L2- larger blast radius (more chance of hitting enemy with knife)
L3- Longer effect time
Counter- Blast Shield

Projectiles (blue)
(Choose which one you want)
L1- x2 Rpg’s
L2- x2 AT4's
L3- x2 Javelin’s
Counter- Bomb Squad

Weapon Master (Bling) (Blue)
L1- 2 weapon attachments (primary)
L2- 2 weapon attachments (secondary)
L3- Change weapon attachments on the FLY (3 seconds) Grenade launchers and under-barrel shot guns are only allowed untill you use BOTH M203's or run out of shotgun shells
Counter- Slight Of hand


RIOT SHIELD (Blue)
(Player movement slowed down 10%)
L1 - Riot shield (replaces primary)
L2 - Use a pistol simultaneously W/ shield(No ADS)
L3 - Speed increases to normal (or use smg, may have balance issues)
Counter- lightweight of Flash bangs and stuns

Lucky One (blue)
L1- faster care drop speed
L2- No enemy radar detection for airdrop
L3- Get an extra airdrop package delivered when your 1st airdrop arives
Counter- Hardline

Grenade OUT! (Blue) Frags, Semtex, Incendiary (choose which ever one)
(Modern warfare2 throwing distance)
L3 1- x2 lethal grenades
L2 2- x3 lethal grenades
L1 3- Throw lethal grenades further (Cod4 throwing distance)
Counter- High Explosive

Trap setter (SURPRISE!!)(Blue) Choose between mines, claymores, or c4)
L1- 2 Traps
L2- 3 Traps
L3- Faster trip speed

THIEF (blue)
L1- re-supply when you kill some one
L2- quieter silencers
L3- steal an enemy kill streak that they have acquired and not used.


Bomb Squad (blue)
L1- Detect enemy traps and tac insertions
L2- Detect enemies holding rocket launchers.
L3- TAKE OVER ENEMY CLAYMORES AND MINES



Bandolier (Red)
L1- Carry 2x ammo
L2- get extended clips
L3- Hold a reserve of ammo so teammates can re-supply ammo from you by holding X

One man army/Overkill Hybrid Perk (RED)
L1- Carry 2 of any type weapons
L2- carry 2 types of equipment (Change by tapping the equipment dpad button CoD4 and WaW controls)
L3- CHOOSE 4 KILL STREAKS INSTEAD OF 3 


Sleight of hand (Red)
L1- Reload 50% faster
L2- faster weapon swapping
L3- Faster bomb defuse

High explosive (red)
L1- More explosive damage
L2- more resistant to explosives
L3- resets throw back grenades

STOPPING POWER (red)
L1- More bullet damage
L2- Enemies stay damaged longer
L3- Kicks enemies out of ADS


JUGGERNAUT (red)
L1- More health
L2- Heal quicker after being shot
L2- Holds ADS when shot



Hardline (red)
L1- 1 less kill for K. streak
L2- 1 less death for death streak
L3- Every drop you get is pro version of K streak. (See kill streak section)

Double tap (red)
L1- shoot faster.
L2- consecutive knives and grenade throws are faster
L3- SELECT FIRE (at weapon selection choose weather you want full, burst, double shot, or single) OR
Single fire shot weapons have a response like trigger where when you pull the trigger it fires and when you release the trigger it sends one off


Radar jammer (Red)
L1- undetectable on UAV
L2- Makes a decoy dot where you fire an un-silenced weapon
L3- No alert for enemy team when taking over enemy domo point or HQ

Steady Aim (Green)
L1- more accurate hip fire
L2- No Weapon sway when ADS
L3- Less recoil (add more recoil and muzzle climb)

Extreme conditioning (green)
L1- run longer distance
L2- crouch walk faster
L3- prone crawl faster

Last stand (green)
L1- shoot pistol and crawl on b4 dying
L2- use weapons and equipment in last stand
L3- revive if you survive bleed out time

Ninja (green)
L1- Invisible to heartbeat Sen.
L2- Dead silence
L3- No falling sound (knee crush)


Light weight (green)
L1- faster movement
L2- Jump 15% higher
L3- No Jump stamina (jump same distance every time)



Commando (green)
L1- longer knife lunge
L2- longer knife throws
L3- Get a speed boost when running with pistol



EMP (green)
L1- disables enemy radar when close
L2- disables enemy equipment and electronic based perks (like uav jammer) when close
L2- makes you invisible to ac130/Chopper gunner target system

Ease Drop (Green)
L1- Hear enemy voices when talking into headset
L2- Shows enemy position on radar when enemy is heard
L3- Shows enemy position when firing a silenced rifle near by
Counter- thief


--KILLSTREAKS--

KILL STREAKS With Pro upgrades. Upgrade by using perk many times (Pro upgrades = Dale 08) Good idea dale.

Troop support! 7 Kill Streak 5 AI controlled teammates(hardened difficulty) storm the battlefield for 60 seconds and have good movement speed depending on weapon types Assault rifle classes run a lil slower than Smg & Shotgun classes. Pro = Veteran AI difficulty

Heavy Backup! 11 Kill streak - Call in 2 JUGGERNAUTS(the kind in Spec Ops) that are AI controlled and run around the maps with HIGH POWERED RIFLES and HEAVY ASS ARMOR and call out enemy location For 60 sec.. JUGGS CAN BE KILLED, but it takes a lot to kill them, at least 2 magazines and a grenade or two. Juggs will trip mines and claymores for slight damage. Pro = 3 juggs

SUGV 3 kill streak (UAV alternative) - Automated robot with a video camera, produces a screen next to your radar or takes place of radar and seeks out enemy troops and marks them similarly to ac130 spotting system(red square). Self destructs after 60 seconds are up. It can be destroyed. Benefit over uav, shows exact enemy location & self destruct may result in a kill. Pro = Increased speed

RC BOMB 5 kill streak (pred missle alt.) - Control with laptop a fast zippy RC car strapped with a High explosive and a camera with a self destruct button.(RT=accelerate LT=Reverse B/O=detonate). Does slight damage by running into people, can be destroyed. Pro = Higher blast radius and more "run into damage"


Sniper Reinforcement 7 kills - snipers post up on the outside perimeter of the map armed with Barret 50. cal’s and M40's and snipe exposed enemies for 45 sec. Snipes can be spotted and killed by enemies. Snipers have un-silenced rifles. Pro = 1:15 or till a certain number of snipers are killed

Dogs 7 Kills (chopper alt.) - Add some spice and variety to game play and still in use today. German Shepard’s for allied factions, Pit Bulls and Rot-wilers for Terr. When they knock you down they rip your throat out or bite your face and you see this from a cool 1st person perspective, like in the SP. Pro = More powerful dogs

Automated Drive Turret (ADT) 7 & 8 Kills - turret about half the size of the sentry that rolls around the map blasting people with either a turret or Grenade Launcher for 60 seconds or till destroyed, will be destroyed by gun fire, explosives, knives, shields. 7 kills for the turret, 8 kills for the GL. Pro = Faster speed

Blood Lust 6 kill streak - Increases health 3x's (painkiller health) better hip fire aim, increased movement speed, and sprint for ever for 60 seconds. Pro = More stopping power

Remote controlled ADT (11 kill streak for turret 12 kill streak for GL) - control an ADT with laptop for 60 seconds. Same weaknesses. Pro = Faster Speed

Predator UAV - call a UAV and shoot a predator missile from a birds eye view. Pro = 2 missiles


--GAMEPLAY CHNAGES—

Some Tweaks that should be worked out and would smoothen the game play just a little more

Keep pistols as your only secondary so people can take advantage of the one man army/ overkill perks


New Equipment - Tactical insertion (DISABLED FOR FFA), Gas Masks,[color=#c2d1aa] Tasers! (push left on the d pad to equip)

GO BACK TO THE D-PAD equipment selection style! THAT WORKED GREAT!!

More knife choices – Machetes, Gold knives, Ice picks, Tomahawk axe.

More Kill streak rewards LIKE 40 of them. I have some good ones!

Custom Gun Camo - Camo types (desert, forest, snow, urban) Unlock Color grid, and Camo styles like tiger stripes, leopard, tape, finger paint.

Character Camo Options – Choose what kind of camo patterns you want you character to wear and unlock challenges by wearing the appropriate camo on the right map. And eventually unlock custom

MAKE UNLOCKING WEAPONS WORTH IT! Please don’t make the LAST weapon you unlock THE 1ST WEAPON YOU GET in the predecessor. Better yet here is a thought Let US CHOOSE what we want to unlock. For example, if you would level up and unlock a new SMG, let us choose which SMG we want, same for perks and other things like weapon attachments.

Slug Ammo For Shotguns – IDK why this isn’t in here already, I mean what good is aiming down your sights and adding sights n scopes to shotty, IF YOU HAVE NO RANGE TO BEGIN WITH?!

COUNTER KNIFING - when two people knife each other at the same time their knives should clash causing both players to stumble backwards, allowing for quick, intense reflex testing CQC fights,

SPRINTING WHILE COOKING GRENADES AND HOLDING THROWING KNIVES

THIS IS A BIG ONE. HAVE PLAYER MATCH AND RANK MATCH CHOICES SO WHEN MY FRIENDS PLAY THEY DONT SCREW MY *** UP.

Secondary and Pistol Camo, KNIFE CAMO RED TIGER KNIFE FTW, and gold KNIVES AND ICE PICKS! RED TIGER M1911. nuff said.

Take out pain killer. Its stupid, frustrating, 1460x worse than juggernaut

A Good theater mode to save kill cams, death cams and winning kills. (BlackNinjaAssasin)

To add to that maybe put some more special effects in kill cams more slow mo, camera pan freeze frames, ect ect.

More integrated clan features, such as leader boards, clan match up system, clan roster list (SniperAssasin) +1 great suggestion

Team based modes have a "Vote Kick" system to boot team killers and people who just suck.(Papa Woodie)

MORE BLOOD - For sure, and lil gore/dismemberment when called for (explosives, high caliber guns, heli gunners, mini-guns ect.) (There is never enough blood)(Normie)

I think it would be cool if when you get shot and have blood on ur screen you leave a lil blood trail, not only would it add a nice effect but it would also be useful if the guy you shoot runs away. and when your screen goes back to normal the bleeding stops.

DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENTS- Also would be a bad ass feature, maybe not Battle field BC destructible, But like certain set pieces like doors that could be blown open, and damaged walls when shot with explosives will crumble and break apart leading to new passage ways.(Normie/Kswift)

MAKE THE MAPS FUN AGAIN - Have two or three versions of the same map, one of the reasons why 95% of the maps on Mod2 suck is because they have to much going on the outside perimeter of the map. Rundown is a perfect example. In the middle of the map there is this dense close quarter style map with lots of 2 story buildings which would be a great map, but you travel along the outside perimeter, there are these huge open fields of grass, which just throws the action off, and there are more maps that do that. Solution, close off these areas at least for FFA and keep the action center orientated and concentrated. Hell u can use the outside as a new map…


WEAPON EFFICIENCY BASED ON WEAPON TYPE-

Examples: After unlocking 2 attachments for every assault rifle you earn the Assault rifle efficiency award - lets your player aim faster from a spring when using assault rifles.

SMG Efficiency- lets you move around faster when aiming down the sights of a smg

Make hardcore availible to Singleplayer..

And so on and so fourth
